Hello fellow beauty lovers.
Today’s post is one that if like me you are obsessed with all things beauty, you’re going to love. You may have seen my blog post last year about my trip to Glamour Beauty Festival (or the vlog I uploaded to YouTube) and this year it was back… and better than ever.
Every year in March, Glamour UK, host a huge festival in London, with amazing brands, beauty bars, product samples, treatment zones along with just about any beauty experience you could imagine, talks from some of the best speakers, and on top of all of that, a huge goody bag worth over £190.
Taking over 3 floors, the festival is held at the Saatchi Gallery on Kings Road in Chelsea, which is the most beautiful location. Whether you’re looking to discover new brands, or just spend a day with your girls indulging yourself with complimentary beauty treatments, learning about the hottest new product launches and keeping up with the best beauty tips from a whole panel of celebrity speakers, Glamour has you covered!
This year I attended the Saturday afternoon session. Tickets cost around £35-£40 depending on whether you get them on the early bird pre-sale, and within this price you get entry to a talk and the amazing goody bag. There were 3 afternoon talks to choose from, we choose the talk with international celebrity make up artist Wendy Rowe who talked us through her career and let us into some of the best kept industry secrets. Not all of the talks are make up focused though, there were speakers such as Toff & Megan Barton-Hanson discussing the blend out bullying campaign, as well as some of TV’s biggest stars such as Maisie Williams and Rylan.
This year the festival was sponsored by Boots, so as well as a fragrance zone, skincare zone, wellness area, make up & nails stands, there was also a Boots zone, housing a live DJ and a conveyor belt full of beauty products – like Yo Sushi, but even better.
I had such a great time, and am so happy to learn that this year the festival is going on tour and will be in Manchester in November. Tickets go on sale in August and I’ve already set myself a reminder. I can’t wait to come back to what will be my 4th Glamour Beauty Festival. Its a beauty lovers dream day!
Have you ever visited Glamour Beauty Festival, and if you have what did you think of it?
